Dusty Strings Jam, 2016/02/14

A Valentine’s Day jam at Dusty Strings! At one point I think there were three banjos and one banjitar, probably the most banjos we’ve had at this jam. (Didn’t help much with the frequent key changes, alas.) Here’s what we played:

Tunes played in December, 2015

We had a huge turnout today — I think I counted 17 folks at one point. Thanks to everyone who braved the holiday shopping traffic to come out, and thanks to everyone who was new! I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance

Tunes played in November, 2015

Tunes Played in August, 2015

I think some folks were down at the Centralia Campout, but we had a good turnout for the August jam — three guitars, one banjo, one concertina, and two fiddles (and occasional pennywhistle). Here’s what we played: Red Wing (G)

Same as last year, I drove back from the Subdued Stringband Jamboree and had just about enough time to take a shower and change clothes before heading down to Dusty Strings. This time I remembered my recorder, though! Here’s what
